Walk Humbly With Thy God

Micah 6:8: He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Genesis 5:22: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 6:9: These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Genesis 17:1: And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Genesis 48:15: And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,

Deuteronomy 5:33: Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.

Deuteronomy 10:12: And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Psalms 116:9: I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

Psalms 128:1: Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

Psalms 37:23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Jeremiah 10:23: O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Steps are simple things. They take us where we go. But it is not in us to direct even those simple things. We need Him directing our steps. Is He truly our God? Are we walking humbly with Him?
